Faith and the Protestant Working Class

Centre
for Contemporary Christianity in Ireland is committed
to helping you and your church effectively serve
Christ and our changing world.
The changing
Ireland has already, and will continue, to demand
much of the church. Centre for Contemporary Christianity
works across the Christian traditions to address
the challenges of a new era for the people of
Ireland.
We
are committed to:
Research
providing informed, credible and
practical comment and analysis on pertinent issues,
rooted in biblical reflection and theological
thought.
Equip
creating and facilitating learning opportunities
- through courses, workshops and other events
- and producing relevant, high-quality resources
and materials.
Act
engaging with wider society, modelling
good practice, building relationships, developing
co-operation, supporting and encouraging others
to join us and working in partnership when appropriate.
Share
developing our national and international
relationships with churches and other Christian
organisations for mutual learning in areas of
common concern.

We
can help you to think and act upon the issues
of critical importance for the future by providing
biblical resources and practical support.
We believe
we can make a difference - helping the church
to be good news for the people of Ireland. We
want to see the Christian community nurture a
deeply-rooted and radical biblical faith. Faith
in God, who in Jesus Christ reconciles the world,
restores human relationships and is concerned
for all of life and creation.
We don't
offer quick fixes or easy answers but we can offer
you biblical resources and practical support as
you seek to address the challenges of your context
- serving your needs and helping to develop your
ministry to the community in which you live and
work.
